The staff were very friendly and accommodating when we arrived, they showed us to the room and how to get there, it being a very old building has some funky routes to get to your room, but the room was very nicely updated. Room had a fantastic view of the rooftops, couldn't have been better situated too, easy walking distance to great restaurants and bars, but far enough away that the bars didn't keep you up at night. We walked to every single destination in Rome and we were definitely putting in some miles, but easy walking from this hotel to everywhere you'd need or want to go. The room had a Nespresso machine or something similar that I enjoyed being able to make a cup of coffee while getting ready, it had working A/C and was a very nice size room. Mostly we were out and about but one evening we had cocktails and desserts in the courtyard, it was delicious. Maybe a touch pricey compared to the rest of the bars in the area but also seemed worth it. We happened to be staying while all the Jasmine vines were in bloom, and nearly every surface in the courtyard and in the neighborhood was covered in the stuff, it made everything smell so fresh.

This hotel was built as a convent in the 1600's. So it has a unique ambiance, and even a beautiful little chapel. But it is not austere like one might picture a convent. It is beautiful and very upscale with a lovely courtyard filled with flowers and trees. Our room was nicely situated overlooking the gardens. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - huge variety of offerings and high quality preparation. The hotel location was superb for us. Within walking distance of many restaurants and sightseeing opportunities. Yet located in a more quiet upscale safe neighborhood called Trastevere (hope I spelled that right). Fortunately for us, it was not in the midst of the loud crowds that you find near the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, or Trevi Fountain. If one wanted to venture a little further away, the hotel staff was very efficient in calling a taxi that arrived in less than 5 minutes. Speaking of staff, the staff were outstanding. Very personable, helpful, knowledgeable, always going above and beyond. Having such wonderful, welcoming, engaging staff definitely enhanced our experience.

We really felt like we had discovered a hidden gem. This hotel is amazing! It is a 17th-century converted convent with the Church still in service and nuns still residing in part of the building. The building has all of Rome's ancient charm on the outside but has been refurbished to the highest levels on the inside. based in the middle of the Travesteria area, it is a short walk to the bustling restaurant and bar area or an even shorter walk in the opposite direction to Gianicolo Hill and stunning views of all of Rome. The room was super comfortable with cool aircon in the stifling Rome heat of the day and an amazing continental breakfast in the hotel gardens was a lovely way to start the day. they also had a live jazz player in the evening and the staff's friendliness and service were exceptional. we had such a nice stay and can't wait to go back.

The location is more residential in Rome, located in the Trastevere area. It is away from the crowds and very quiet. The food was amazing. The breakfast is a typical European breakfast with many more choices yogurts, meats, cheese, fruit. We ended up staying for dinner our last night. The restaurant was booked but the maitre d’ set up a table. The staff was attentive and accommodating never rushing us to turn the table. We had many courses and everything was delicious. This property is beautiful.

We were a group of 7 staying here and we all loved our stay! The building is absolutely charming and well kept. It gives you the ancient feeling but at the same time, it is renovated and very clean. The staff were very professional, helpful, and accommodating when we had a family emergency and had to make some last minute changes in our booking. The rooms were decent size and comfy with large bathrooms. Breakfast was great, and we really enjoyed having breakfast in the courtyard.
